    Beautiful box. Made  of wood and hinged lid. Has velvet like material inside with jewelry compartments. Measures 2.5" x 11.75" long by 4 3/4" wide. Has a map on top. Really nice. Made Japan. Please zoom into pictures as they are a huge part of my description. Exactly as pictured.
