Vintage Japanese Jewelry Music Box w/Original Key

Description

Beautiful circa 1960s ebonized black lacquer music box with lock & key.  Artistically hand-painted cranes, note the painted tail feathers that look soft enough to touch! Raised texture on the bark of the tree & pine needles, plus bits of abalone add even more realism; the  design wraps the front and side of the box & is continued inside the box.

Glossy, smooth ebonized finish with slight wear as shown but in very nice vintage condition. A small loss on the finish on the front of the box should be easy to touch up but is offered 'as found'.
